What a verified employer means on JobRena

Every organisation carrying the verified badge has been through the checks below before it can reach candidates on JobRena.

What a verified employer means on JobRena

Checks completed before a badge is granted

An organisation cannot reach candidates as a verified employer until each of these checks has been completed and recorded by the JobRena trust team.

  • Company registration β€” the legal entity is confirmed against its registration number or incorporation documents in the country where it is hiring.
  • Official domain email β€” the account owner confirms an email address on the organisation's own domain; free mailbox providers are not accepted.
  • Recruiter authorisation β€” the person posting is confirmed as authorised to recruit for the organisation, and agencies must name the employer they represent.

Job content review

Every role published by a verified employer is reviewed for a named hiring organisation, a real job description, a lawful application process and the absence of any candidate fee. Roles that fail the review are not published.

Ongoing monitoring

Verification is not permanent. Employer accounts are monitored for candidate reports, unusual posting patterns, changes of ownership and expired registration details, and are re-checked when any of those occur.

What verification does not mean

Verification confirms that the organisation and the recruiter are real and authorised. It is not an endorsement of pay, working conditions or hiring decisions, and it does not guarantee that a role will be filled. Always apply the safety guidance in Trust & Safety.

Suspension and revocation

A badge is suspended while a credible report is investigated and revoked where an organisation misrepresents itself, charges candidates, posts roles it is not authorised to recruit for or repeatedly breaches platform rules. Tell us if something looks wrong.
